In the dry addition method, the powdered activated carbon is quantitatively conveyed by a screw precise feeder and then added under negative pressure through an ejector. The dry addition method does not require the installation of a preparation tank, and it occupies a relatively small floor area. This method has a very high requirement for the precision of the screw feeder. The dry addition method is suitable for small and medium-sized equipment and is generally applicable to water plants with a daily treatment capacity of less than 200,000 tons.
